I came across this message online yesterday.. A delivery boy had written “Sir, please give 10 out of 10 in feedback and send a screenshot… I’ll get Rs 10 bonus from the company.”
Ten rupees.. That’s all he was asking for.. It made me pause.. Not that I have grown in privilege in absolute sense but this shook me.. someone else's reality became my mirror..
While many of us are sitting in air-conditioned rooms, worrying about whether we’re “doing enough” or “growing fast enough,” "earning enough to splurge".. someone out there is just hoping for ten rupees more.. Because that's what fairness looks like in his world...
Life really isn’t equal.. Some carry the weight of dreams far heavier than their paychecks.. And some of us forget to even say thank you for how much we already have.. how far we have come.. We're not all running the same race..
It made me realise how often we lose touch with gratitude.. How often we are buried under ambition, pressure, our needs and noise.. And yet, sometimes we need such simplest stories to bring us back to ourselves..
If life has given us comfort, maybe we’re meant to build a longer table, not higher walls..
Because happiness doesn’t shrink when shared. It expands quietly, slowly, like kindness passed forward.. gently.
Although I didn’t get this message from the delivery guy, but I felt it deeply..
Sometimes, someone else’s reality is all it takes to remind you of your own blessings... I count mine! God bless this guy!
