If a horse can be this dumb, so can I..

Saw this picture the other day - a big, majestic horse tied to… wait for it… a plastic chair. And the horse is just standing there like, “Yep, guess this is my destiny.” I mean, really? This guy can pull carts uphill but believes a wobbly ₹200 Nilkamal knockoff has him trapped.
But honestly, aren’t we all that horse? I know I am. I’ve skipped stuff because my brain went, “Dude, what if you fail?” (Side note: half the corporate junta is failing gloriously every day and calling it strategy).
I once didn’t apply for a role because I thought I wasn’t “ready.” Truth bomb: nobody’s ready. Most of them are just winging it with PowerPoint, jargon monoxide and borrowed confidence.
There’s this meme that says, “I have 99 problems and 86 are imaginary scenarios I cooked up myself.” Accurate, isn't it?. And Mark Twain nailed it too: “I’ve had a lot of worries in my life, most of which never happened.”
So maybe it’s time we all stop being these dumb horses tied to plastic chairs. Worst case? Drag the chair along and make some noise while you move forward.
