Small Sips, Big Reflections..

Some evenings aren’t about chasing the next big thing - they’re about small, unplanned detours. Today, mine led me back to Disney Bakery, a place I hadn’t visited in ages. I walked in for a ginger tea, but what I really walked into was a time machine. This place has been serving happiness, and familiarity for the last 35 years.
The familiar aroma, the clink of cups, the quiet hum of conversations - it all pulled me back to those simpler days when life felt slower, lighter. Back then, there were fewer screens, fewer deadlines, and somehow, more room to just be.
And maybe it’s fitting that this little trip happened today - India’s Independence Day. As a country, we’ve come so far in 78 years, yet there’s still a long road ahead. We talk about progress in terms of technology, infrastructure, and opportunity - and yes, those matter. But so does holding on to the things that ground us.
Because no matter how much changes, it’s important to revisit the good times and good things. A street corner, an old haunt, a chipped cup of ginger tea - they remind us that freedom isn’t just about moving forward, it’s also about pausing, cherishing, and carrying the best of our past into the future.
